Biography PhotoGregory B. Kenny
President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Kenny has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of General Cable since August 2001. He was President and Chief Operating Officer of General Cable from May 1999 to August 2001. From March 1997 to May 1999, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of General Cable. From June 1994 to March 1997, he was Executive Vice President of the subsidiary of General Cable which was General Cable’s immediate predecessor. He is also a director of Cardinal Health Incorporated and Ingredion Incorporated (formerly known as Corn Products). He is also a board member of the Cincinnati Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland.

Mr. Kenny has a diverse career in government and industry. In 1975, through competitive exam, Mr. Kenny entered the U.S. Department of State as a Foreign Service Officer. His diplomatic career focused on international economics and trade, and included tours in Washington DC and South America. In 1982, Mr. Kenny moved to the private sector joining the Penn Central Corporation, then a $3.0 billion revenues, multi-industry conglomerate. As an officer, he held a variety of positions including VP Corporate Development and Group Executive for the Technical Products and Services companies, which included Penn Central’s activities in Rail Services, Satellite Systems and Nuclear/Environmental engineering.

Mr. Kenny holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Georgetown University, a Masters of Business Administration from The George Washington University and a Masters of Public Administration from Harvard University

Biography PhotoBrian J. Robinson
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Robinson has been Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer since January 1, 2008 and also served as Treasurer until May 2013. Prior to that, Mr. Robinson served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer from January 2007 to December 2007.

Mr. Robinson began his career at Deloitte & Touche LLP in 1991. In 1997, he moved from Cincinnati to London, England, where he served as Audit Manager for Deloitte & Touche, focused on accounting services for global companies. In 1999, Mr. Robinson joined General Cable as Assistant Controller, where he also assumed the role of Controller in 2000. He became Vice President and Controller in November 2001 and was named Senior Vice President, Controller and Treasurer for General Cable in February 2006.

Mr. Robinson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Dayton and received his CPA certification in 1993.

Biography PhotoRobert J. Siverd
Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

Mr. Siverd has been Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of General Cable since July 1994.

Mr. Siverd began his career as associate counsel with the law firm of Donovan Leisure Newton & Irvine of New York City in 1973. While there, Mr. Siverd had responsibility for a wide variety of litigation matters ranging from antitrust and product liability to securities litigation and trade association affairs for national trade associations and professional societies. In 1983, he joined The Penn Central Corporation, a multi-industry conglomerate as litigation counsel and was elected Vice President-Litigation in 1986. After that time, Siverd diversified his legal experience to include general corporate, securities, mergers and acquisitions and real estate matters, and he became Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of General Cable in 1992.

Mr. Siverd holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown University and a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center.

Biography PhotoPeter A. Campbell
Executive Vice President,
Chief Executive Officer,
General Cable Asia Pacific


Mr. Campbell has been Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer for General Cable Asia Pacific since December 2012. Upon joining General Cable in 2010 until his promotion, Mr. Campbell was Senior Vice President Asia, which included direct leadership of Thailand and India and interfacing with our partners in Philippines and China. Prior to joining General Cable, he held global business management, manufacturing and engineering positions of increasing responsibility with Fosroc International Limited from 2005 until 2010 and BP Chemicals Limited from 1983 until 2005.

Mr. Campbell resides in Thailand and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde (United Kingdom). He has spent a significant part of his career living and working throughout the Asia Pacific region. Peter serves on the Board of Directors of the Company’s Asia Pacific companies including Phelps Dodge International (Thailand) Limited, PDTL Trading, Thai Copper Rod Company Limited, General Cable Oman and Phelps Dodge Yantai Cable Company. He is fluent in English and French.

Mr. Lampert has been Executive Vice President, President and Chief Executive Officer for General Cable, The Americas since January 2013. Prior to that, Mr. Lampert was Executive Vice President, President and Chief Executive Officer, North America from August 2008 until January 2013. Beginning in October 2007 until his promotion in August 2008, Mr. Lampert was Executive Vice President and Group President, North American Electrical and Communications Infrastructure and had leadership responsibility for General Cable’s cord, cordsets, electronics, data communications, industrial, specialty wire harnesses and telecommunications business teams. Prior to that, he was Vice President and General Manager of Carol® Brand products for General Cable since January 2004.

He joined General Cable in 1998 and has worked in a number of capacities including product management, sales and business team leadership. Prior to joining General Cable, he held engineering and management positions with Dow Chemical Company and Cintas Corporation.

Mr. Lampert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a Masters degree in Strategy, Finance and Marketing from the University of Chicago. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Xtek, Inc, a manufacturer of specialty goods for the steel and aluminum industries. Mr. Lampert is also the former Chairman of the Standing Commission of the International Cablemakers’ Federation.

Biography PhotoEmmanuel Sabonnadière
Executive Vice President,
President and Chief Executive Officer,
General Cable Europe and Mediterranean


Mr. Sabonnadière has been Executive Vice President, President and Chief Executive Officer, General Cable Europe and Mediterranean since July 2010. In this role, he leads General Cable Europe, which provides wire and cable products to a diverse customer base to be used in energy, industrial, construction, and data and telecommunications applications in Europe and the Mediterranean, and HV/EHV Underground or Power/Telecom Submarine projects worldwide. Prior to and continuing after his promotion, Mr. Sabonnadière has served as Chairman of Silec Cable (France) since August 2008 and Chairman of the Board of Enicab (Algeria) since March 2010.

Mr. Sabonnadière joined General Cable from NKM Noell Gmbh, the German branch of the Group REEL, where he served as Chief Executive Officer from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of the Distribution Transformers Division of Alstom T&D from 2001 to 2005. Mr. Sabonnadière also served in a number of management positions of increasing responsibility with Schneider Electric from 1990 to 2001, lastly as Managing Director of France Transfo.

Mr. Sabonnadière holds an Engineering Degree from Université Technologie Compiègne, a Masters in Physics from Nationale Polytechnique de Grenoble, France, a Masters in Business from Ecole Supérieure des Affaires de Grenoble, France, and a PhD in Physics from Ecole Centrale de Lyon. He is fluent in French and English.
